In the UK we are about to embark upon a massive explosion in women entrepreneur success. It was only last year I attended The Millionaire Bootcamp for Women hosted by Stephanie Hale and Mark Anastasi and just by attending the event was life changing for me. Here’s what happened…

I had met a new mentor and friend business guru Marsha Wright, there was something about this lady that I could reasonate with. Her knowledge on business is profound and I am proud to be known as one of her Ultimate Success mentees for what she has taught me about business and brand building has been truly outstanding.

My good friend Marie-Claire Carlyle was also speaking at the event about How To Become a Money Magnet and she inspired me to raise my game.  I spent some time with her at the event and her energy was contagious.

At the event I also happened to be sitting near to  Placida Acheru, someone who I had connected with online but had never met before. In that conversation she gave me an opportunity to speak at her event… and from that moment the rest has been history as they say.

The year has been full of “go” “go” “go” continually stepping out of comfort zones to enter into the unknown which is where the magic happens. Since the event last year it has truly been an amazing journey of growth personally and in business and I’m so excited to be sharing with you my journey to online success and how you too can cash in on your passions online by using video as your main marketing tool.

Just think 2010 I was sitting in the audience, and now 2011 I am speaking on stage with an amazing line up of speakers Gill Fielding, Richelle Shaw, Sandy Forster, Marie-Claire Carlyle, Alexandra Watson, Marsha Wright, Bernadette Doyle, Katharine Dever,  Jennifer Hough, Naomi Sesay & Joanna Martin …its a dream come true. Have you ever smelt that big fishy smell online ? You know the one when some dude is waffling on about something that he or she hasnt even done themselves. What do you sense ? That that person is a scam ? That that person is a hypocrite ? That that person is just trying to pull a fast one ?  It’s no wonder that so many people are skeptical. There is indeed alot of hypocrites online and also alot of  people  who are doing business online that walk their talk too.

If you are thinking of having an online business or already have one, sometimes you can get so carried away and forget to walk your talk yourself. Look back now at your marketing messages and double check, the last thing you want is to be out of integrity. It will subconsciously suck your energy.

The biggest advice I can give to anyone who is starting a business online is to remember to walk your talk.

It is necessary for you to become the walking testimonial for your own business.  Failure to do so could have really bad consequences. When marketing be selective with your words that you use in your communication.  If you want credibility and respect in this industry be truthful to yourself and in your messages you put out there.

Your actions speak louder than words. If you give  advice to others in your business ensure that you are speaking from a place of experience.  Having an internet business means that information is easily accessible for others to check you out and entrepreneurs / marketers should have this in mind.  Create youself to be “walking your talk” by using  social proof to back up what you are saying.  In doing so you will be able to gain more trust from potential clients and be known as a genuine internet marketer.

I came across this video today and just had to share this with y’all haha

The Poetic Prophet (AKA The SEO Rapper) explains what makes a good webste design

Some really great tips here.

So its time to turn up the volume, nodd your heads and grab a microphone.

Heres the lyrics:

Your site design is the first thing people see
it should be reflective of you and the industry
easy to look at with a nice navigation
when you can’t find what you want it causes frustration
a clear Call to action to increase the temptation
use appealing graphics they create motivation
if you have animation
use with moderation
cause search engines can’t index the information
display the logos of all your associations
highlight your contact info that’s an obligation
create a clean design you can use some decoration
but to try to prevent any client hesitation
every page that they click should provide and explanation
should be easy to understand like having a conversation
when you design the style go ahead and use your imagination
but make sure you use correct color combinations
do some investigation, look at other organizations
but don’t duplicate or you might face a litigation
design done, congratulations but it’s time to start construction
follow these instructions when you move into production
your photoshop functions then slice that design
do your layout with divs make sure that it’s aligned
please don’t use tables even though they work fine
when it come to indexing they give searches a hard time
make it easy for the spiders to crawl what you provide
remove font type, font color and font size
no background colors, keep your coding real neat,
tag your look and feel on a separate style sheet
better results with xml and css
now you making progress, a lil closer to success
describe your doctype so the browser can relate
make sure you do it great or it won’t validate
check in all browsers, I do it directly
gotta make sure that it renders correctly
some use IE, some others use Flock
some use AOL, I use Firefox
title everything including links and images
don’t use italics, use emphasis
don’t use bold, please use strong
if you use bold that’s old and wrong
when you use CSS, you page will load quicker
client satisfied like they eating on a snicker
they stuck on your page like you made it with a sticker
and then they convert now that’s the real kicker
make you a lil richer, your site a lil slicker
design and code right man I hope you get the picture
what I’m telling you is true man it should be a scripture
if it’s built right you’ll be the pick of the litter
everyone will want to follow you like twitter
competition will get bitter and you’ll shine like glitter
if you trying to grow your company will get bigger
design and code right man can you get with it

You know at the beginning of every new year the “talk” is all about goal setting and setting new year resolutions. Well if you want to really fulfill your goals and not it just be “talk” I recommend you check out a book called Goals by Brian Tracy. Inside you will discover that by getting into a habit of writing your goals down on a regular basis (not just for new years) that you will get everything you want faster than you ever thought possible.

Its a great strategy that will not only give you clarity and focus to achieve what you want but to also keep your goals at the forefront of your mind on a daily basis so that you expand your awareness of how to create these goals into tangible results.

If you are a fan of the movie “The Secret” then you will know the importance of declaring to the universe your goals by speaking in present terms. For example I have, or I am so that subconsciously the answers will come to you by taking small action steps to get closer and closer to fulfilling your dreams.

Remember goals is not just about success, you can have goals in all aspects of your life from relationship goals to health goals. Go for ultimate happiness in all areas of your life to create a balanced life. Theres no such thing as you will be happy once you have this or that.

Make 2011 be the best year yet and I truly wish you a very Happy New Year full of abundance.

There’s alot I have been working on for next year including speaking gigs, finishing my book and launching a product so lots of things happening… but when this hit my inbox I just had to STOP everything I was doing and get educated.  I felt so compelled to get into FAST action to avoid any future tears. Now, I do not want you endng up on the poor side of the divide either so  I just had to share this with you today…pay attention.

There’s more to personal brand than just what meets the eye.

To go deeper into the core of your brand, look at what your values are, your beliefs and communicate your marketing messages from this place. Its like a religon, stick to your rules ie. stick to your values and you will attract reps or clients to you who share the same values as you do or who choose to work with you because they also respect your values & how you have positioned your brand online.

My values are simple, to be honest, geniune and do business and live life striving for 100% integrity. Meaning I say and I do.  Keep it authentic with who you are. If it is not within your values or core beliefs.. dont do it.

Image alone is like an empty box & people can see straight through it, they are not silly.  You want to be transparent and authentic in how you brand yourself online…that is what’s going to connect other people to you.

It is through self development did I then start to see results, not just in my business but in my life as a whole. Dont get me wrong, I’m not saying I’m some kind of personal development guru but I am passionate about it and continue to work on my self everyday just as much as I continue to learn and implement the latest internet marketing strategies to apply it to my business and share with those who work with me.

Personal development is one of the keys to success that will build your personal brand online to be of consistant value.  If you are just thinking about starting an online business make a commitment today to include it in your journey for online success, have it be a part of your life as your business will only grow as much as YOU do.

Recently I was at the World Internet Summit in London UK and a network marketer asked me what is the difference between a network marketer and an internet marketer.  Now I do both..so I just really wanted to explain today how to make money from selling actual information products online.

Ok so first thing is first. What is a PLR product ? A PLR product is an information product in a format of video, audio or ebook that has already been created by experts in any niche and you get a (Private Resell Rights) license to be able to customise the product to make it your own and recieve 100% of the profits.

Once you have set up one of these products online, the key is to drive traffic to the product so that the product will sell. You can set up as many products as you wish to sell online giving you a portfolio of products almost like having virtual real estate.

Now putting on my business hat, Im going to let you in on something here and that is.. the quickest and easiest way to drive traffic to your product website is to do joint ventures with other people in the same niche of the product you are selling. For instance, if you are selling an ebook about how to train your parrot to speak english for example (trust me, there are all sorts of products and niches to tap into) you could approach other businesses who deal with parrots and suggest to them that you have a product you think their customers or clients would be interested in and ask them if they would be interested in selling your product for a commission.

If you set your sites up properly you will be able to have the whole process automated and working for you 24/7 earning you profits in your sleep. So, this my friends is internet marketing which is a massive difference to network marketing. When you enter into the state of happiness not only do you become more attractive (and Im not just talking about in appearance) but at a deeper level of attraction.  How do I know this ? Well, even though I am not religious I am spiritual.  I mean, after jumping out of a plane a couple of months ago not only did I get the adrenaline of 100 times more than what any “happy” pill could ever give me (did I just say that ? haha) but you kinda see the world from above, the creators perpective.  Someone, something must of created our world, our life form, our universe and in believing this you come to realise that we are all connected.

But seriously, when you enter this state of happiness you tap into alignment with the true path of which you are to live and when this happens everything that you want in your life is drawn to you like a magnet. Trust me, the creator did not create our lives to be difficult. we have just made it this way by neglecting  our”SELF” that is why my friends, it is imperitivie to break free from limitations, empower yourself as an entrepreneur and go after your dreams, your path to TRUE FREEDOM is already there, you just have to know how to access  it !

So basically, if you want an easy life, a life where everything just flows…“get HIGH on life man“.. you dont need anything external to make you happy.  Just tap into this state of happiness by being grateful for what you already have.  If it is more clients you want for your business, be grateful for the clients you already have and more of the same will be presented to you… providing you also take the actions. Just mindset alone is not gotta cut it. There was once in my life when I use to live out from boxes and had coversations going on in my mind like “what would they think of me if I told them I also am passionate about something else”. Wow, it seriously took me some time to realise that it just didnt have to be this way and that it was me making all that stuff up. I mean, what do people really care if you have other passions ? Its a good thing !!!

Back in 2009 when I first started my business online, I had this story in my head that if I shared that I was a single mother and a dancer I would not attract clients but that is coming from such a disempowering context. Its funny when I look back as it is this same uniqueness that has brought clients to me.

So in your online business right now I encourage you to express that you have multi passions and know that you DO NOT have to GIVE any of them UP to become successful online.
